Hands On remote access Version 5.00
UPDATED: September 28, 1994
Easy Up and Running Release 1
This is the first "Easy Up and Running Release" designed for
an easier installation and initial use. You might consider
just reading the QUICK.DOC first, then go through the
manuals. QUICK.DOC is for QUICK STARTS and QUICK HELP.
HANDS ON will allow you to connect two IBM PC-compatible
computers together via telephone lines and modems, or direct
cable, and arrange for input to be accepted from either
keyboard, and for both displays to appear identical.
Naturally, its capabilities include password management,
various kinds of security lockouts, file transfers, and easily
customization. Its designed to blend into your normal working
day and working software set, so its there when you need it
but not in the way when you don't need it. This distribution
includes modem setup information for a number of modems.
(Yes, our mini and main-frame claims still hold. See the
HO.DOC.)
The file_id.diz is repeated below:
Hands On Remote Access 5.00 <ASP>
Easy Up and Running Update. Easy use.
Hands On has small RAM size, useful set
of features in a complete toolkit.
Minimally intrusive and easily modified.
Liberal developers distribution policy.
The install program is script driven and can easily be altered
so you can combine Hands On remote support with YOUR product
distribution(s). If you enter "INSTALL EDIT" then follow the
instructions you are taken to the script area. See the
INSTALL.DOC.
The BBS.DOC has distribution format information.
Smile! and have Fun!
